Frequently Asked Questions
Does API provide meal plans to clients?
No. Not only is it ethically wrong unless you get a meal plan from a registered dietitian, API believes in teaching proper habits and necessary guidelines to help achieve your specific nutritional needs rather than telling you which foods to eat or a specific diet to be on. Find more information about what we do here or reach out here for more information.
Do I have to book sessions in advance or can I just show up?
Due to scheduling restraints, programming individualized workouts, as well as keeping groups capped at the right size to ensure quality coaching, all sessions must be booked at least 24 hours ahead of time. Book here or if you have any questions please contact us at info@trainatapi.com
Does API do any kind of assessment for new clients?
Yes! In order to provide the most specific training programs as possible, a thorough assessment is mandatory. Schedule your assessment here!
Do you do speed training for teenage athletes?
Yes, we do! We construct our athlete programs based on developing speed, strength, power, agility, endurance, and more! We also modify the training based on whether our athletes are in-season or off-season, injury history, and initial assessment evaluations to provide as much of an individualized approach as possible. Click here for more information on our Athlete Training Programs.
How many sessions per week do you recommend I do?
This completely depends on your goals, current activity levels, activities you'll be doing on other days of the week, etc. Some of our clients only see us once or twice a week but are also engaged in other physical activities outside of API. A generalized guideline of 3 or 4 sessions per week is typically good for most people. Contact us to schedule an assessment with one of our coaches to find out what's a good fit for you!
